I'd recommend entering anyway, despite the competition only being available to Americans, Canadians and Europeans if you read the contest rules, I say this because one of the previous art competitions had a winner from Israel, which as far as I am aware is neither part of Europe nor in America.

But yes, a big RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO you to Anet for the exclusive competitions, and another to Gaile Grey who lied about the exclusive nature of the competitions when asked on local chat in Kamadan quite some time ago... That was with regard to the minipet mania sweepstakes, which apparently Australians and others could enter, despite the competition requiring a valid US postal address.... because you know all non-Americans maintain a summer residence in the US...

Enter anyway, cross your fingers, pretend you're European...

There are likely legal restrictions that exclude residents of certain countries from participating. Calm the hell down.

Grow up huh? Yet you're the one saying something is not art. So please since you are so smart and grown up define art for all of us.

Next time you QQ about someone winning a contest maybe you should see who is the childish one. Every post is just as ignorant as the last so I doubt you will have anything good to say.

Wow. Tons of Q_Q in this thread. Not naming names, but what do I expect, it's Guru.

Shame I'm not creative enough to enter. I was going to enter the Halloween contest but I slacked off and never got around to doing it. Maybe I'll actually get off my ass and submit it by next Halloween.

I've been lurking around the workshop thread and I see a ton of awesome stuff coming through. Haven't seen anything I didn't like, so, I'm excited to see what gets submitted. Very neat stuff.

Can't say I've been fond of Wintersday or it's RL comparison, but I do like how it inspires other people to get creative.

Also can't say I wouldn't like a reindeer tonic of my own. Non-EL would be fine, too.

Just because I feel the need to input my own two cents: Costumes, and costuming is an art. I'm a Theatre Major and I have a lot of respect for my costumers. They toil and put forth a lot of blood, sweat and tears into what they create. They feel passion for it just as a painter feels passion for their paintings. They create a lot of magical and beautiful things, and for that I respect them as an artist, and someone with exceptional talent.

I also wish all the competitors the best of luck, and I hope you know that most of GW will be envious.

you're telling me to grow up when you're the one saying you wanted to slap my for my opnion. just because i dont agree with someone's view of art doesn't make me ignorant. so why don't you grow up and let people have their own views okay kiddo. or more importantly go check out other threads where people dont agree with each other. their you will see grown ups allowing each other your views. maybe you will learn something. But seeing you can't let people have their own views i don't see you growing up.
